Jarratt R.
Jarratt’s fitness journey began in the Singapore Armed Forces Commando Battalion, where he faced challenges from multiple shoulder dislocations. Rather than giving up, he embraced unconventional training methods like gymnastics, yoga, and tools such as clubbells, macebells, and kettlebells to heal. After a serious accident during Special Forces training left him unfit for combat, he became a trainer in the 1st Commando Battalion, discovering a passion for helping others unlock their true potential through mobility and movement awareness. Today, Jarratt teaches students of all levels, including trainers and professional combat sports athletes. His mission is clear: to empower everyone to reclaim their natural ability to move, with variety to keep the journey exciting.

As the first and only Singaporean to compete in the UFC, he transformed self-doubt into personal growth, now finding fulfillment in coaching the next generation of professional and amateur fighters. His advice for aspiring fighters: don’t wait to feel ready—embrace the process. You don’t have to compete to enjoy martial arts; just dive in and have fun. If competition calls, opportunities will arise; if not, the joy of training will be equally rewarding.
